We have a fun quiz every other Friday which is free to enter and starts at 9.15pm the winning team gets a free round of drinks to the value of £10 and there is the chance to win a cash prize playing the card game Higher or Lower. After the quiz we provide free sandwiches to all team players.

We are taking bookings for our ever popular SPOOK NIGHT on Friday 31st October A night of Food, Fireworks and Magic with our spooky magicians Fancy dress optional! and a raffle is being held for a local charity please call to make reservations as we cannot reserve tables over the Internet.

Parsnip, Apple & Ginger soup topped with creme fraiche and finished with toasted seeds served with home baked crusty bread

Layered Pork & Chicken liver pate topped with Cranberry Jelly served with toasted Bloome bread and The Lamb Inn's Home made Apple Cidre Chutney

Coquille St Jacques served with mixed leaf garnish and a wedge of lemon

Main Course

Traditional roast Turkey Crown served with Chestnut stuffing, Kilted Sausages, Rich Gravy a duo of Potatoes and seasonal vegetables

A Fillet of Cod wrapped in Smoked Scottish Salmon, baked in a Herb & Garlic butter served with new potatoes and seasonal vegetables

Half an oven roasted Pheasant served with Chestnut stuffing, Kilted Sausages, Redcurrant Gravy a duo of Potatoes and seasonal vegetables

Traditional Moroccan Vegetable Tagine made with Aubergine, Peppers, Butternut Squash, Apricots and Eastern spices served with spicy Couscous and flat bread


Traditional Christmas pudding with Brandy sauce

Sicilian Lemon pot served with Eaton Mess ice cream and a Shortbread biscuit

Layers of Chocolate brownie, Caramel and Flapjack with Hot Chocolate sauce and Ice cream

Wensleydale, Cranberry and Apple Cheese served with The Lamb Inn's Spicy Tomato chutney, Celery and Crackers


We have now opened a new dining room which can seat up to eight people set in a traditional style with oak panelling and tartan carpet to reflect the age of the Lamb Inn this room can be booked for any occasion. Please see the pictures on our gallery page.
